Q. Are bird feeders permitted?
A. Bird feeders are allowed providing they are at the rear of the property and are not an obstruction for the landscaping contractor.
Q. Are garden statuary permitted in the front landscape beds?
A. Garden statuary and other artifacts may be displayed in front landscape beds provided they a) do not exceed four (4) feet in height, and b) do not exceed five (5) in number.
Q. May owners plant flowers in the front landscape beds?
A. Planting of annuals in the front landscape beds is permitted. The owner must maintain the flowers planted. No artificial flowers are permitted in the front landscape beds.
Q. May owners plant additional trees or shrubs or make other changes to the front landscape beds?
A. Owners desiring to install additional shrubs or trees or to change the front landscape bed from its original plantings by the builder must obtain prior written approval from the Board.
Q. May owners store their trash/recycling containers on the side or back of their garage or house?
A. All trash and recycling receptacles must be stored inside the house or garage.
Q. Are holiday decorations on the exterior of the house and/or garage permitted?
A. Holiday decorations on the exterior of the house and/or garage are permitted from November 20th through January 10th.
Q. Who is responsible for upkeep of the outside of the house?
A. It is the owner's responsibility to keep the exterior of their house in good repair and reasonably clean of excessive dirt, mold or algae.
Q. During the landscaping season, are the lawns mowed every week?
A. No, the lawns are mowed on an "as needed" basis. It is bad for the grass to mow when it is too wet. Conversely, when it is hot and dry, the lawns hold up better and stay greener if the grass is allowed to grow a little bushier.
